Alltest Instruments is a growing test and measurement equipment company looking for talent to expand our metrology department. We are looking for a calibration technician with at least some on the job experience capable of calibrating instruments across a minimum of three different disciplines. - Apply knowledge of electronics, mathematics, and measurement science to calibrate electrical, optical, and RF test and measurement instrumentation.
- Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
- Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems
- Adapt equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements
- Maintain calibration standards
- Post-sale, expert-level support services
- Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate’s Degree college or technical school plus 3+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Formal training in Metrology, such as the Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL) or TMDE gained through the military is highly desirable

- Test & repair to component level a wide variety of electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, RF or Optical Communication Analyzers, AC/DC Power Supplies, Spectrum / Network / Component Analyzers, Meters, etc.)
- Instrument Calibration Procedures
- Specialty may be focused on RF circuitry, optical, or general electronics board repair
- Associate’s Degree college or technical school plus 3+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
The Environmental Chamber Technician will support Alltest Chambers. The candidate’s major responsibilities include but are not limited to service, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex mechanical systems, specifically Thermotron, Espec, Tenney, Qualmark, etc test chambers. The candidate will track maintenance/repair, develop a maintenance schedule (when needed), purchase any required parts for repair and develop / read schematics as required.Basic Qualifications:Desired Skills: Submit your resumé and cover letter to carl@alltest.net .
- College or technician degree in HVAC/Refrigeration
- 5+ years of applicable work experience
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical operations
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics
- Ability to re-build components as required
- Strong communications (verbally and written) and interpersonal skills
- Team player and good attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be detail orientated, good time management skills, and able to prioritize
- Able to work independently on assignments and multi-task
- Knowledge of Positional Indicators, Transducers, relays
- Ability to develop product thermal profiles per customer requirements
- Universal refrigeration licenses
- Knowledge of LN2
- Experience with Thermotron Chamber with LN2 cooling. Model 7800 and 8800 Controllers
- Experience with Envirotonics Chamber with LN2 cooling. Model Solutions Plus Controller
- Experience with vibration table maintenance
The Business Development Executive is responsible for providing the necessary assistance to customer inquiries relating to the selection of electronic test and measurement equipment and financial solutions to best meet their needs. Candidates are also responsible for all quote-to-close initiatives in the assigned territory, meeting company objectives for profitability and response times. The Business Development Executive will have a strong internal drive, sense of urgency and be an effective team player who is organized and pays attention to the details.

Our sales role will have you working with our customers to achieve the following goals:- Provide technical assistance to inbound customer inquiries relating to the selection of equipment, rental, service, and leasing options
- Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing in compliance with established policies and procedures and complete timely follow up with customers
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline utilizing the company’s proprietary software and other databases
- Provide information and feedback on competition and potential new markets
- Develop and maintain client relationships, both internal and external
- 3+ years of sales experience required within a dynamic fast paced environment
- Technical work experience in electronic testing and measurement equipment preferred, or other related electronics or telecommunications experience
- General knowledge of rental/lease practices and financial practices/principles
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Experience selling NEW + USED Keithley, Tektronix, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, etc equipment, service, and calibration
- Experience building / designing labs and interpreting technical documentation associated
- Laboratory consulting experience a PLUS
