Calibration Technician
Alltest Instruments is a growing test and measurement equipment company looking for talent to expand our metrology department. We are looking for a calibration technician with at least some on the job experience capable of calibrating instruments across a minimum of three different disciplines. Essential responsibilities and duties include:
  • Apply knowledge of electronics, mathematics, and measurement science to calibrate electrical, optical, and RF test and measurement instrumentation.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
  • Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems
  • Adapt equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements
  • Maintain calibration standards
  • Post-sale, expert-level support services
  • Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associate’s Degree college or technical school plus 3+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Formal training in Metrology, such as the Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL) or TMDE gained through the military is highly desirable
